My Irish Life

Here we are with a co-worker of my wife. I can’t explain the knucklehead with the American flag in the background.

There is cold. Wind. Rain. And sun. You can experience all of these over the course of 15 - 20 minutes. It’s crazy. Just dress to be warm and take the layers off as needed.

We have had the opportunity to explore just a bit. A couple of castles (Malahide Castle and Kilkenny Castle). Loved the tours. So much history around here. Sort of reminds me of Italy, but they speak English… if you can catch on to the Irish accent.

What I am warming up to is the people! They are spectacularly friendly. I have also found that what I thought I LIKED about Guinness beer in America, I LOVE in Ireland! And I am sorry to say that Heineken beer in the U.S.… sucks. But in Amsterdam, it is amazing! And a close second to Guinness in Ireland!
