While I grew up in Kansas, I have spent a lot of time in Arizona. I have been fortunate enough to have explored much of what Arizona, and it’s neighbors, are known and loved for.
As I took up photography I quickly learned that I didn’t have to venture far beyond my own property or nearby locations to find inspiration for my lens. And I have yet to find sunsets that compare to those in Arizona.
These pictures range from my back yard in Cave Creek to Monument Valley and San Francisco. Monument Valley, which may often be confused as being in Arizona, is located in Utah.
Just a few side trips to San Francisco, but it has it’s own cultural vibe, as does any major city. There is just something different about it that you can always find something new to experience.
There is nothing like walking through this land and just taking in the beauty and majesty of the people and the history.
